Artist and educator Ted Mikulski refers to his latest creation as art in your face. Though he calls it abstract art, it looks more like pop art. Images and characters from retro video games like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, & Mario populate the design on the car. Here’s what Ted had to say about his latest project:
This car is a reflection of the idea that art should not only be designated to areas like galleries and studios. The artwork has several themes including Pac-Man, Where’s Waldo, Space Invaders, Tetris, Mario and others, all weaved together in a comprehensive abstraction. The vehicle was stripped of its clear coat, brought into my studio and for the next 160 hours (11 days total), it was drawn on with paint pens by artist Ted Mikulski. The clear coat was put back on and it is now sealed as a permanent piece of art. The work was unveiled at the New Britain Museum of American Art in July of 2010. It is no longer a car.
Take a look at images of the car below. Pretty dope stuff don’t you agree?

nice paint work, nice design and colours, good job!
