Sometimes, life takes you places that you could have never imagined. One second, you think everything is going perfect and then milliseconds later, your world has turned upside down. In a world, where nothing is absolute, I could never wrap my head around the pros of defying gravity. Why would I want the power to overcome gravity, when everything in life is already spinning out of control. Quite a personal intro, but looking at the paintings of Brooke Shaden brings out moral musings. Her art floats, and to me is a feminist battle against the confines of life. Brooke Shaden who resides in Los Angeles uses well developed techniques to transform surreal photographs into paintings. Full of symbolism and juxtaposition, the works of this artist makes you think and visualize instead of just the usual glimpsing.
