Honey & Lightning: Mandy Greer’s Otherworldly Installations

Inspired by folklore tales, mystical imagery, myths and faity lates, Mandy Greer is a NorthWest artist, who will be featured at Roq la Rue Gallery in Seattle to exhibit her Honey and Lightning solo show. The show will feature small sculptures, photographs and a series of headdresses. Honey and Lightning will open Friday January 14th from 6-9pm and will run through February 5th 2011.Mandy Greer’s enchanting works make you feel as if you’re in a fairy tale, and are simply to intricate and elaborate to describe with simple words. It’s as if the closing scene of the film Pan’s Labyrinth had a baby with Florence and the Machine’s “Dog Days are Over” music video.
