Issue 4 cover artist Greg Gossel is unstoppable. In his latest exhibition at Together Gallery in Portland, OR, the aptly titled Paper, Minneapolis based artist the artist presents 24 new mixed-media works in his now iconic style which includes a bevy of techniques and styles.
Greg Gossel can’t feel his face, and we know exactly why. Art Nouveau’s ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ issue cover artist has been busy toiling away at canvas after canvas in preparation for his upcoming solo exhibition entitled Numb. The exhibition continues Greg’s signature style of adding and taking away elements in an effort to create gallery based work that evokes both the feeling, mood and texture of works found on the street. Kate Moss, who’s appeared in many of his pieces of course comes up again, she is joined by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Jimi Hendrix, and my favorite, James Dean.
Atlanta based photographer and Yale Graduate Nikita has slowly been releasing images and sneak peeks at works both in progress and finished that are set to be featured in the show. Take a closer look at her images below.
