The force is strong with this one. On June 1, Artist/graphic designer PaperFrank will debut new works in an exhibition entitled “Afro Picks and Bunny Suits 2″ at Archive Gallery. All work and merchandise will be for sale. If you’re in Atlanta and want to know where the art scene is heading, you need to make it out to this show.
Atlanta based artist PaperFrank has been killing the arts scene in Atlanta. From RockSmith Clothing to City of Ink his signature style, a mix of neo pop and anime, is everywhere. You Mad?
Atlanta based painter/graphic designer Paper Frank is doing a damn good job of permeating the Atlanta art scene. Bright, engaging and youthful, I was introduced to Frank’s work by Scarlett Spade of CocainePretti, and since then I’ve enjoyed working with him on events (Super Pop, Tabloid and Art Nouveau’s Three year Anniversary Party) and watching his career flourish. Now an apprentice at Atlanta based tattoo shop City of Ink, the self-taught artist is working on a upcoming solo show. Paper Frank is Art Nouveau Magazine’s Artist of the Week. Take a closer look at his work below. Photos courtesy of Paul Abraham Photography.
