Vibrations are the feelings a person puts out there. It’s apparent from the sounds on emcee and producer Nemo’s new album “Vibrations” he has pretty good ones.
The whole album has a vibe too cool to be anything but chill. The best part about the album is the concepts Nemo builds around the productions. The best song on the album is undoubtedly the whimsical track “Shooter,” a song that nods to the current Drake influence that’s all over hip-hop music these days. Nemo manages to channel the Canadian rapper while maintaining his own identity. Other highlights include “The Definition of Cool,” and the lyrical acrobatic “Soul Funkin’ Dangerous,” the “Elevator Music(Remix)” which features Mums FP, L.E. and Darnell Levine.

Static. Stagnant. Suffocatingly repetitive is the breeze that flows throughout the music world. Here to resuscitate us from that commercialized smog; and to blow us away with lyrical fresh air is Nemo. I first caught wind of Nemo after downloading his amazing EP “Elevator Music.” Eccentric, eclectic, and immaculately produced, “Elevator Music” is dope as dope gets.
