Kelly Towles recorded the entire process from start to finish of his latest mural in his hometown of Washington DC. The short film by Sebastien Tobler documents Kelly as he re-explores his neighborhood with a wide eye outlook that can only be compared to a child. This is no doubt inspiration from his daughter Isabella, the star of the film. Take a look at this video entitled “SCOUT” below.

The good work just keeps rolling with these two. Hot off the heels of their latest show at Compound Gallery, Zach Johnsen and Mhak have collaborated again on a mural on Burnside Street in Portland, OR. The mural is a cube at the Jupiter Hotel on Burnside. There will be an unvieling party this Friday, July 16 at Jupiter Hotel from 6-10pm. Check out images below.

Memphis based artist Edwin McSwine sent us this photo of a detail of a piece he recently completed. The piece is a mural for the the How Sweet The Sound Mural Project Edwin is currently working on. The mural will be posted downtown in Memphis.

Painter Hugh Leeman (Interview with An-Mag.com) sent me this photo of a recent wall collaboration with Gaia and Sean Desmond done in San Francisco’s uber artsy Mission District. Hugh will be in Atlanta this August participating in the Living Walls conference.  Sean’s work in the center, will be the first solo show at ABV gallery in Atlanta June 25.
