The film industry has let me down time and time again. So much that after the disappointment that was Avatar in 3D, I vowed never again to pay for a movie. I reneged on that recently and caught Contagion, and I must say my faith has been renewed. The film had a bit of everything in it, conspiracy stories, up to date technology, it felt very real, and the thrill was off the charts. Although most people would marvel at the star studded cast which consisted of Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Laurence Fishburne and Beyonce’s best pal Gwyneth Paltrow. But what really caught my eye was the inclusion of strategically placed street art.

The clip takes stage as a modern fairy tale, featuring Mr. Young Money himself, Sir Drake, as Minaj’s knight in sullen armor.
This week, it was announced that Kanye West’s star studded “Monster” video had been banned from MTV or rather serious edits requested. Among the posts, blogs etc. talking about MTV’s demands, what many fail to realize is that this is being analyzed among the wrong lines. Instead of analyzing this among the lines that “Wow, that video was racy” what many should do is analiyze it among the lines of “Wow, that video was racy, but MTV has aired WORSE.”
The girl on the step in front of me is twerking so hard that every time she makes her butt clap, my face gets pimp slapped by a jiggling cheek. I’ve tried blaming it on the angle of the steps that are causing her derriere to be right in my eye line, but I’ve never been good at lying to myself. A couple of months ago, a group of my friends and I proposed that we all audition for the Real World. After all, we live pretty fun, drama, and party filled lives. We got to thinking about all the figments of our lives.
