American Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour is my hero. It was a no brainer to design Fresh Printz shades with some of my favorite Vogue covers. Check them out at FreshPrintz.

These days Pop isn’t such a dirty word. It’s just another way of saying “Popular.” And there’s nothing wrong with being on top. When Andy Warhol said everyone would be famous for 15 minutes, I doubt even he knew the effects the Internet would have on our popular culture. If any contemporary artist is the direct heir to Warhol’s legacy it’d be Ron English. His mastery at creating not just amazing artwork, but marketable products is a testament to an idea Picasso began and Warhol later perfected.

Also in this seasons’ Art Nouveau Magazine former Terry Richardson assistant Keicchi Nitta talks iconography, Fahamu Pecou, Sarah Weaver and Mr. Brainwash are Neo-Pop saviors, J*DaVeY is ready for the world and eye popping fashion editorials featuring clothing by Mishka NYC, Gold Coast Trading Company, Pepper + Pistol, Stevie Boi Shades, Fresh Printz, Chilly O and more.

Models, music and shades, oh my! Shades and Babes, an event hosted by Art Nouveau Magazine meshed with the swimsuit fashion of Kae Couture, commenced on a cool, windy Friday evening. You couldn’t have asked for a better mix of fashion, art and music than what this event had to offer. If you were simply passing by the small boutique, the three lovely models that gracefully advertised Miss Couture’s swimsuits would have definitely caught your eye as people surrounded them and even posed with the models.

The music was mixed by none other than the GreatEclectic as he spun the background music for guests to enjoy. Hip Hop Heroine, Corinne Stevie also performed at the event, performing her songs “Cristal on the Moon,” “Techno Hop” and “Grace,” the latter can be found on the Noise Porn mixtape. There was also fine wine for everyone to enjoy as they socialized and partook in the beauty of the event. It was great to see people come out to the event in their support of the fashion lifestyle and hopefully they all walked away with new inspirations from GreatEclectic’s Fresh Printz Shades and the swimsuits of Kae Couture.

This past weekend I got together with Ken ,Ben and Also Jay who is the new addition to Art Nouveau to chill out but instead we designed sunglasses for the Shades & Babes event.

This Event is presenting a special line of sunglasses that were designed by me for Fresh Printz’s S/S part 2 collection. Here are some progress shots and few extra shots from that day.

On May 7th Fashion House Kae Couture and Fresh Printz Shades will team up for one night of sun blocking and beach bodies as they showcase their 2010 Spring/Summer collections.

An atmosphere illuminated by bold prints, loud patterns and vibrant colors combined with the pulsating beats of pop culture will take the traditional fashion night out event to a new height. This event will highlight current trends and designs by Atlanta based talents who are raging war against the bore of contemporary fashion.

Shades and Babes feature designer Kenyatta Williams, of Kae Couture, who is putting the elegance and sex appeal back into the water. Creating customize swimwear that caters to a woman’s body while never deterring from their needs and comfort.

The creator of Fresh Printz Shades gives their customers a new way of viewing society. Rather you’re a person on the go, professional or club kid there is a pair of frames for you. Fresh Printz Shades are not your ordinary sun blockers, for these shades allow for you to wear your personality on your sleeve. Images of pop culture art and entertainers such as Lady Gaga, Keith Herring and Vogue spreads can be seen on the arms of the frames.
