Jesús López also known as Gsus Lopez is a Spain native by the way of London creating intimate, yet still arresting visuals through the mediums of wardrobe styling and photography. Lopez is seemingly mastering the art of being that rare candidate in the fashion and artistic visuals that can capture moments as opposed to just over-bearing ideas. Mr. Lopez is currently studying Fashion Media at London College of Fashion and will surely be making plenty of noise on both sides of the pond.

You don’t just call yourself a fashion photographer. But when you are as good as Munich, Germany based fashion photographer Elizaveta Porodina, your work elevates beyond taking pictures with good equipment. For Elizaveta, it’s more about the mood. Photography is so easy already and with the way these Canon and Nikon cameras are made now anybody that has the money can legitimately call themselves a photographer. It’s difficult to find authenticity in a medium that’s so, well, fake. If those photo posers are nightmares, Adrienne Raquel is a dream,  a photographer’s dream. Her work oozes with the authenticity those other photographers fail at emulating. Instead of biting Terry Richardson and David LaChapelle, she is inspired, pushed even to achieve greater. Sexy, Strong, Brooding, the Houston based photographer’s work is breathtaking.

Russian born fashion designer, painter and art director Varvara Frol could be Terry Richardson’s long lost sister. Like his work, her work is Overexposed, vibrant and always eye catching. Varvara studied at university in Russia(Faculty of Fine Arts and Design), schools in Warsaw and Krakow Poland ,worked in Milan Italy, Moscow Rossia, Warsaw Poland.

On May 6, at Zagadka Coffeebar in Warszawa, Poland, Varvara will present her latest project “BLACK YOUR COLOUR, COLOUR YOUR BLACK.”

“First the idea was dresses , black, covered all body with pisses of colorfull (painted by hands) materials,” Varvara explains. “Black it’s a symbol of rutin life , all of people cover them emotions more or less Colour it’s symbol of emotions, feelings, sometimes it’s to much to keep it inside .. After dresses I deside to paint it like pictures and to do small pisses of “emotions”-acsessory.”

Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader are a Brooklyn, New York based photography team that creates stunning surreal editorials that know no limits or boundaries. One look at a shot from their port will have you rethinking what can and can’t be done in fashion photography.

If I had to make one observation about our generation it’d be that our generation is one fortunate enough to wear different hats in professional life. Fashion photographer/designer/model Thom Kerr is of this “slasher” generation. Thom approaches creating images like a cinematographer would approach filming a movie. This could be why most of his work has so much depth. Here are some of my favorite photos from Thom. I’m sure you’ll like it.

Brooklyn based and California born photographer Shannon Sinclair has shot for Betsy Johnson, DKNY, Nylon and Art Nouveau Magazine to name a few. Shannon got her start by documenting the different bands, graffiti artists, rave and skate subcultures of the San Francisco area as a teenager. In early 1999, Shannon moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion photography.  Her experience in photographing live music, and its culture, has rooted her expression in fashion & beauty photography.
