"Amber RoseX Robocop" by Timothy Eugune

Timothy Eugene is the artist to black Hollywood’s socialites. The New york based artist has been recently sketching pretty fashion inspired sketches of Amber Rose and burgeoning socialites Coco and Breezy and Marquis Phifer of Lateboots.com. Although I’m sure Andy Warhol would be proud, Timothy’s work reminds me more of Patrick Nagel. Take a closer look at a few of Timothy’s pieces below.

I thought this was the most WTF moment of 2009. How in the hell is a person going to fit in that ballon? Common sense people? Americans O, The rest of the world 1,000,000.

12. Real Morehouse Men Wear Dresses
This definitely was a WTF moment for me that struck close to home. Out of all the things my home institution could focus on, tutition, failing grades, dilipating buildings, crime, lack of resources, among other things they chose to entrench of freedom of speech and tell dudes at Morehouse they can’t wear women’s clothes. Does clothing stop learning?

11. Whitney Houston Is A G!
Whitney Houston explaining how to roll a blunt a do heorin to Oprah kept me laughing for days.

10. Amber Rose Makes Being A Bald Headed Ho, Cool
I walked into an event the other night to find everyone, men and women, donning a bald head. I couldn’t help but think this is all Amber Rose’ fault.

09. The Year of Flopped Albums
50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Wale, Asher Roth and even Rihanna saw their albums flop after millions of dollars spent in marketing and hype. 

08. Vibe Dissapears, and Comes Back Again
Vibe Magazine was and always will be one of my favorite magazines. I looked up to them as the Black Rolling Stone. When they folded earlier this year, I saw it coming. But now their back, and hopefully with a new direction can get it together. I’m rooting for them.

07. Drake & The Breast I Ever Had
Drake’s Kanye West directed video for “Best I Ever Had” was chopped full of tig-ol bitties. For someone whose “saving” rap music from commercialism this was definitley a WTF moment.

06. Eff Love
Rihanna’s quote during her interview with Diane Sawyer was the shot heard round the world. Somewhere Chris Brown is hoping she trips and lands on her forehead.

05. Twitter
Twitter has taken over everyone’s lives. I don’t watch TV, or the News, but if it’s newsworthy enough I’ll find out somehow on Twitter. And I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

04. Chris Brown Debos Rihanna
I wasn’t shocked when I heard Chris Brown beat Rihanna. For weeks I’ve been seeing images of them fighting in clubs. But, once that picture surfaced it was like damn homie! He beat her like she stole something. Definitely one of the worst and WTF moments of 2009.

03. The King is Dead
I mean you know someone is eventually going to die. You just don’t think it’ll be Michael Jackson. The day he died the world mourned. Hopefully his work will be praised and not criticized for his personal life.

02. Obama’s Inaugration
Obama made history becoming the first Black President at the top of 2009. Congrats! Now let’s get something done.

01. I’ma Let You Finish

Obama, I’ma let you finish, but Kanye had the best, worst and wtf moment of 2009. It never fails. Give Kanye West a front row seat and he will make an ass out of himself. When he ran up there to snatch the mic from Taylor Swift to defend Beyonce, who probably could give two shits about an MTV Video Music Award, I lived. Yes, it was rude as hell. The awards were given out by fans voting, and right now Taylor Swift may be the only artist besides the Black Eyed Peas selling records, so her winning over Beyonce makes sense. But, at least he has manners and says excuse me before he makes an ass out of himself.

I didn’t wanna stop until i completed them so i went to be at 4 this morning. Check them out and let me know what you feel about them. I also did a mini video of the studio after my long night.

If this country got a dollar for as many times as I’ve been bombarded with Amber Rose trivia from someone I know we would have been out of this recession.

A week ago my friend Corinne started mentioning Amber Rose. “Did you see the Robocop video?” Um, No. I don’t find the song remotely interesting. And most Kanye West videos always end up looking like a failed attempt to be artsy, so I doubt a visual will help.
Come to find out the reason she likes the video is cause Amber Rose is supposedly in it. “Who is Amber Rose?” I ask. She’s “a stripper,” she tells me. So. There are ho’s everywhere why does she get a trophy for hoing. That’s like giving someone a trophy for breathing. Um, that’s what you’re supposed to do.

A day ago I’m on Yahoo Messenger and my friend Brenten IMs me a link to a picture from her shoot for Complex Magazine’s new issue. “And I’m like this is her?” She looks like any average video ho. Except that she seems to be channeling Demi Moore in G.I. Jane.

I instantly go to Wikipedia to research her. I mean there must be something about her. You don’t date Kanye West and be BFF’s with Rihanna and not be cool right? Wrong.

Come to find out she was a stripper. Her biggest notch on her resume is appearing in a video by Ludacris called “What Dem Girls Like.” Her “bio” on Wikipedia even says she’s “known for her relationship with musician Kanye West.” I don’t get it. This is cool? Being famous for who you’re blowing.

I’m just saying. Maybe we should rethink our criteria for an idol. I mean if a chick whose claim to fame is that she queefed in a porno and likes to eat pussy our standards are getting pretty damn low.
