A Day in the Life of a Rockstar: Detroit Part Two- The Fashion Show

Now to the Fashion show, which I must say was very awe inspiring. It was held in a building I believe was called Tangent Gallery which gave off a very antique look. Corinne took the pleasure in bringing some of her art work to hang up on the walls and she also brought a big piece of banner paper that read “I <3 Art Nouveau” where everybody who came into the gallery could put their signature or label of their choice onto the paper to leave their mark.

There’s nothing like going on a 12 hour road trip with your friends to a destination that you are unfamiliar with. It really gives you guys time to really get to know each other and see how close or how far apart you really are. If you were in Atlanta on Saturday, April 25 and did not make it to H.I. Ink’s Ink Blot Indie Music Fest at Niche, apparently, “you’re just not that important,” (to quote Mercury from The 54). The independent music scene represented well. The hottest young, vibrant talent in Atlanta affirmed that they are a powerful force to be reckoned with. Whether you are listening or not, they are indeed beating down the back door of the music scene; they’re about to storm the main floor.
