On August 14, Nine and Three Quarters Presented The Human Soul Project, an art show that boasted conceptual artwork by Atlanta based artists and performances by Brittany Bosco, Kid Syc, Scandalous, & Mr. Brown.
The Human Soul Project was part art show for the first half featuring work by Sean Fahie, Eric Elliott, Branden McDonald, Stephan Pender, Jeffery Beard, Branden M. Collins and Adam Amaral. Sean Fahie’s hectic watercolors were undoubtedly my favorite works.
The second half of the show was a mini-concert as viewers shuffled to the second room of the venue to watch performances by Mr. Brown & Scandalous, Kid Syc and Brittany Bosco who serenaded the crowd with her version of the jazz classic “Summertime.”
Overall, the event was dope. The space was my favorite part because crayons, markers and sharpies were purposely left everyone so anybody could tag, write or create artwork on the walls of the studio. By the time it was over the entire space looked like an art show.
Sean Fahie, an organizer of the event, plans to keep doing the event monthly. Here’s to that! Check out a video and photos from the event below. All Photography by Kendrick Daye aka GreatEclectic.
