Longtime reader Shawn Huckins recently sent us images of his current series entitled An American Revolution Revolution. In the series, the Middleton, CT based artist explores 18th century painting and portraiture techniques in the context of 21st century lexicons. Tweet this. Facebook that. Google me. LOL :-( . These texting acronyms permeate through our popular culture. Shawn is pointing out, “Technology has brought us closer together, but yet, we’re more removed from each other.”
