There’s nothing like an inspired woman. Sophia Carolyn G. is that. The visual and performing artist from Philadelphia, PA recently graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA with a BA in Fine Arts. She hopes to influence women of all walks of life to live life meaningfully and with renewed self-worth. This urge echoes throughout all her work but it’s most notable in her current series Goddesses of The Red Wall Chronicles which find Sophia painting twisted nude female figures in a style remincist of Basquiat.
