Two fashion lovers and business mavens have come together to produce an avant garde fashion show set to forecast trends. Greedmont Park’s very own Myles E. Johnson of Studio13 and Rose M. Bellefleur of 12thDisciples have merged together to create the fashion show called “Pulp Fiction” hosted by Brian Patrick Davis at House of Adrene (264 Peters Street Atlanta, Ga) on September 4th, 2010 at 8 p.m. Featuring designs by designers and boutiques like Aston Mozie, Nicci Hou, Coco&Breezy, House of Adrene and Fearless Weirdos.
“This will be a awesome display of imagination and creativity that I have always desired to say through fashion and style that is rarely ever seen.”, says the shows co-producer, Myles E. Johnson. “Collectively we desired to make a fun, yet smart event that would piece together fashions from a euro-centric point of reference than the typical urban aesthetic that a lot of fashion in Atlanta is centered upon”, explains co-producer, Rose M. Bellefleur.
This project was a long time coming and the product of both Rose M. Bellefleur and Myles E. Johnson’s collaborations and conversations with movers-and-shakers in music, fashion, and lifestyle from New York, California, L.A., London and even Sweden. “We wanted to merge everything we’ve been inspired by in the last year into one amazing event.” proclaims Myles who owns his own image consulting company, Studio13. ” We want the attendees of the event to not only be able to see refreshing fashion, luxurious gaments, but to also be able to network and meet the different elements and people that have contributed to the show,” adds Rose M. Bellefleur, a free-lance journalist who is the creator of 12thDisciples, a company that not only produces entertainment and fashion events, but is also an online magazine.
“Pulp Fiction” will be hosted by Brian Patrick Davis known in the Atlanta music and fashion scene as “the Black Socialite”. “Pulp Fiction” will show case America’s most promising young designers like Aston Mozie (comprised of two celebrity stylists and designers), Nicci Hou, Seventeen Magazine featured sunglasses designers Coco&Breezy, and two recently CNN featured boutiques: House of Adrene and Fearless Weirdos.
The event will take place at House of Adrene (264 Peters Street) in the Historic Castleberry Hill district with celebrity stylist and business owner, Adrene Ashford of ‘Hoped For Today’ being in attendance.
Myles E. Johnson and Rose M. Bellefleur have seemingly teamed up to reinvent what’s fashion and style on September 4th, 2010. “Pulp Fiction” is shaped to be one of the most creative and innovative fashion shows that Atlanta has ever seen.
