Momirski & Voet’s 30 Days Immediate Inference Project

July 30, 2010 |  by  |  Art & Culture

Neža Agnes Momirski all the way from Rotterdam, The Netherlands sent me this interesting project she’s working on with Reno Voet, called Thirty Days Immediate Inference (30DII). It consists of a combination of drawing, sculpture, photography and graphic design, the ideas behind the 60 images and the pre-determined method of working.

The two created the simple yet intense idea while chatting at a museum in Ljubljana(Slovenia). The conversation was an answer to the question: how it would be if we non stop observe each other during a period of 30 days, and create an image everyday based on those observations. The hypothetical became true, when the two artists took the conversation and turned it into a tangible object.

Imagine 30 days of not showing work to other people. 30 days of joy, pain, happiness, conflict, letting go, rules and final results. 30 days of one image per day. 30 days of not knowing what the other person is creating behind their desk. 30 days of forgetting everything you have been taught. 30 days of pushing the limits in yourself. 30 days of getting past the fear.

The two binded the pieces in a book of the same name. You can download a PDF of the book here.
