By now you’ve heard the Internet talk about Lady Gaga’s nearly completed new album. Well here’s a taste of the new material from her follow up to Fame Monster. Gaga performed the song during her set at Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball last Thursday.

While seated at one of her signature deconstructed pianos, Gaga told the crowd in her Madonnaesque Faux British accent: “This is a brand-new record that no one’s ever heard before. And I’ve never, ever played it live, ever.”  Gaga goes on to describe the new song, titled “You and I,” as “a bit of a rock n roll tune. Watch the video below.

Lady Gaga begins the summer North American leg of the nearly sold out Monster Ball tour today in Montreal, with support act Semi Precious Weapons who release their own debut album You Love You tomorrow.
