Art sales are down. But don’t tell that to Kat Von D. The celebrity tattoo artist is gearing up to open a brand new art gallery on LaBrea Ave in West Hollywood. The gallery, formerly the Carmichael Gallery space, is located next to her tattoo shop. The gallery’s first show, a solo exhibition featuring Kevin Llewellyn opens Thursday, Sept 2.
