Artist of the Week: Jamie Boling

Iowa based Painter & Illustrator Jamie Boling‘s work captures penetrating and fugitive moments of pop cultural events. He’s rendered Britney Spears’ infamous and unexpected bottomless escapade with then pop problem child Paris Hilton and references to tabloids & Star Wars. According to Boling his work is,” an American daydream that embraces humor and often reveals dystopian visions of a media-saturated tabloid culture.” Boling is www.An-Mag.com’s Artist of the Week.
