Russian born fashion designer, painter and art director Varvara Frol could be Terry Richardson’s long lost sister. Like his work, her work is Overexposed, vibrant and always eye catching. Varvara studied at university in Russia(Faculty of Fine Arts and Design), schools in Warsaw and Krakow Poland ,worked in Milan Italy, Moscow Rossia, Warsaw Poland.
On May 6, at Zagadka Coffeebar in Warszawa, Poland, Varvara will present her latest project “BLACK YOUR COLOUR, COLOUR YOUR BLACK.”
“First the idea was dresses , black, covered all body with pisses of colorfull (painted by hands) materials,” Varvara explains. “Black it’s a symbol of rutin life , all of people cover them emotions more or less Colour it’s symbol of emotions, feelings, sometimes it’s to much to keep it inside .. After dresses I deside to paint it like pictures and to do small pisses of “emotions”-acsessory.”
