Forget L.A. & New York. If you need anymore proof that the Atlanta art scene is on the come up, I introduce you to 26 year-old artist Sean Fahie. Sean is fresh off curating a collaborate art exhibition entitled The Wonderful World Of at Aurora Coffee Shop in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta in addition to the numerous art shows he’s exhibited his work in since moving to the city. Sean speaks highly off the Atlanta arts scene and credits it to his growth as an artist.
“The scene out here is on the come-up,” Sean explains. “.”
Sean is also a graphic designer, but it’s his watercolor work that impressed me most. Sometimes eerie, sometimes quirky, always masterfully rendered. Watercolor is a difficult medium but Mr. Fahie makes it look easy as a drunk Lindsay Lohan. He says watercolor was always the medium for him to create with.
“I just always liked [watercolor],” Sean says. “It’s free-flowing.”
Besides visual art, Sean also expect see him picks up the mic and release an album entitled Words Have Power which features production from Alex Goose. The album is set to drop soon.
