California Girls: Fremont Apparel Is Undeniable

August 30, 2010 |  by

Los Angeles based label Fremont Apparel is undeniable. The label, designed by Devin Carlson, embraces a loose-fitting contemporary aesthetic with an emphasis on basics. The name “Fremont” is derived from the movement that took place on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. It was the 1st paved street in Las Vegas and the 1st to welcome resorts and casinos where people would escape daily life and getaway-one of old Hollywood’s biggest playgrounds.

Carlson started out his educational background at California State Fullerton College (B.A.) studying the conceptual side of marketing and advertising. During this time he also studied graphic design at Golden West College, while simultaneously studying fashion, industrial sewing and patterns at Orange Coast College where he gained a strong knowledge of garment construction.

Take a closer look at Fremont Apparel’s Fall 2010 collection which is currently available at ShopBop, Revolve Clothing and OAK.
