This past Saturday, July 24, indie rock artist Ben Carson performed a live set at Highland Inn Ballroom in Atlanta, GA. Ben opened up for Atlanta band La Chansons with some new material (“Selfish”), songs off his upcoming EP Melodic Monster (“Wasted” and “Isabella”) and an impromptu jam session with Jack Preston on drums. Ben’s style is a combination of the southern charm of Muddy Waters and the grunge of early 90′s bands like Nirvana.
